Carb-BOOM, Inc is a company run by athletes and produces a sports nutrition product for athletes. The concept for the product was originated by the Cooney brothers - who saw the need for an energy food product for athletes that was easier to eat and digest than energy bars. In August 2000, the company reformulated their original gel and launched three Energy Gel flavors, Apple Cinnamon, Strawberry Kiwi, and Banana Peach. In the fall of 2001, great-tasting Vanilla Orange with Caffeine, was introduced to the market.
