PRODUCT CONSISTS OF:
Caffeine: Caffeine increases perceived
energy levels, suppresses appetite and hunger, enhances mental acuity
and alertness, improves neuromuscular performance, and stimulates
thermogenesis. Thermogenesis refers to the “burning” of calories in the
form of heat. Caffeine supports thermogenesis in synergy with green
tea, below.
Green Tea Extract: Substances referred to
as catechins are found in green tea, which stimulate thermogenesis and
the oxidation (”burning”) of fat in synergy with caffeine. Green tea
also possesses antioxidant properties.
Octopamine: Octopamine is a biogenic amine used to support and enhance the thermogenic and other actions of caffeine and green tea.
Evodiamine 98%: Evodiamine, non-pungent
vanilloid receptor agonist, is one of several alkaloids found in Evodia
Rutaecarpa. In animal studies, evodiamine has been found to reduce body
fat, possibly by stimulating thermogenesis.
Yerba Mate: Consumed as an alternative to
coffee in South America, Yerba Mate is a source of caffeine and other
methylxanthines. It also contains substances that may enhance the
effects of methylxanthines. It is added to Thermonex for the same
reasons as Octopamine.
Synephrine: Synephrine, also a biogenic amine, is added for the same reasons as Octopamine, to which it is closely chemically related.
Naringin: Found in citrus fruits and other
plants, this bioflavonoid is used to prolong the activity of caffeine
and other methylxanthines.
L-Tyrosine: This naturally occurring
conditionally essential amino acid is included in Thermonex to help
replenish neurotransmitters (e.g. norepinephrine) released by caffeine
and other ingredients. The catecholamines are involved in the
regulation of neuromuscular performance, alertness, focus, and mood.
Iodotyrosine & Diiodotyrosine: Two
forms of tyrosine containing the mineral iodine. Iodinated tyrosine is
used in the synthesis of thyroid hormones. Thus, Iodotyrosine and
Diiodotyrosine are included in Thermonex to support thyroid hormone
production.
